Does anyone have a hack to get the power mirrors to fold automagically fold the mirrors when the engine is shut off?

Thanks

Yeah, real simple. All you gotta do is pull down on the mirror adjustment knob when it is in its center position. If you’re too lazy to do that then should’ve bought a higher end vehicle for lazy ppl

Well then don’t be lazy and take 1 second out of your day to pull down on a penny sized knob that is literally 5” away from where your hand is gonna be when you go open the door anyways. And $80k ain’t shit. There are people that own high end vehicles that would laugh at your statement.

As was
Mentioned already, there’s no ForScan code that we can change to enable this. But, I’m sure with enough time and ingenuity you could wire up the fold switch to your door locks. If you wanted this feature bad enough.

Something tells me the folding mirrors were not designed with this amount of use in mind, but who knows...

Well, ****. As far as high end, as I said $80K is high enough for me....the only luxury car I've ever admired is the new Aston Martin Rapide S, and while I can afford a quarter-million dollar (sticker price) car, I'm not that enthralled with it.

Which is part of the reason I could afford it.

Every Lexus vehicle I have owned (4) has had power folding mirrors that fold when I lock the car. Our expedition I just have to pull a switch. Not that hard.

@Boose you wanna tell @mikeysentra to settle down too?

While I disagree with the obnoxious negativity on here this morning, no I don't...

He didn't say: "If you’re too lazy to do that then should’ve bought a higher end vehicle for lazy ppl."

You could have very easily ended your comment with your first sentence. But you proceeded to insult him. I was making a joke of it with the coffee comment, however now you're just being a d-bag.

Lots of vehicles have functionality where power mirrors fold upon placing the vehicle in Park. What is so obnoxious about the original question to where the attack was necessary?

Bc there’s a knob that gets pulled taking all of 0.07 seconds that is within fingers distance from the door handle. Ppl are just lazy and want every available option to make it so they have to expend minimal energy. Obviously he hasn’t read much or done any research on his own about power folding mirrors.
