Ford vs aftermarket mirrors.

I know pretty much the answer to this one, but I'll throw it out there. A friend of mine picked up a Clean 98 Eddie Bauer. He needs a r/s mirror, I saw a ton of aftermarket ones from $25.00 to $45.00. Are they any good, or like most Chinese and India parts, subject to fail. Anybody have one that's lasted, or should I get him a used oem one off Ebay or wreckers?

only one I can speak for are the Super Duty Replacements from A1 auto they were pretty good but the paint able covers blew off if you didn't glue them on the mirrors and electrical seam to hold up fine

Are they the same size as oem?
