Was wondering what might be some of the most popular/recommended Forescan edits/changes? I saw "Bambi Mode" (keep high beams on when the fog lamps are running) and "Lincoln Fold Mirrors" (fold the mirrors closed when the truck is locked and will unfold when drivers door is opened and then closed. So if you just unlock the truck to open the tailgate or any of the doors other than the drivers door, the mirrors will not unfold), global windows, etc..

Any others to consider? I have never done anything with Forescan and would probably have a local shop do it, if possible.

Coolant digital display over the coolant guage. So you see what the actual engine coolant temp is

Don't do the mirror tilt when in reverse, absolutely never worked right, caused the famed mirror snapping issue all the time for me. So dumb too, every car i've had properly tilts the mirrors down when reversing to better see things like curbs and lines.

I did mods to heated steering wheel, horn honk, changed quick lane change signal from 3 flashes to 5, coolant meter. maybe some others i can't think of right now. I did change the native graphic on the Sync3 screen but reverted that back when I was having APIM issues cuz Ford said they wouldn't troubleshoot the APIM with non-asbuilt configs in place.

Just make sure you make backups of every module and get a copy of your as built before doing anything. Use the wizards more so than trying to manually update the values.

Major Forscan change I made on my 2017 was enabling the LED fog lights as DRLs. I think it's nearly criminal Ford didn't include DRLs or at least put activation on the menu. 5-blink lane change and showing engine hours on the dash are the only other changes I can recall right now,

Availability of options is somewhat dependent on what parts or modules were available when the truck was built and varied even in the same model year.

I had on my old truck the fog lights set as DRL. Worked perfect. Also had the drivers seat belt reminder, double honk while engine running disabled, then auto accessory power off set 1min (battery drain), temperature in numbers on the dash, forced regen (diesel), seat heat / cooling control on the sync3 screen, Bambi mode and that’s all I can remember on the quick.

Any recs/videos as to a Forescan primer/getting started for Newbies?
Do google searches for your year. Also, there is an As-Built section that helps take the guess out of having to plug in numbers and change codes. That's the safest way to use it. Back up before doing anything, as you could cause issues right up to bricking your screen.
