Friends expedition totaled

This is a friend of mines expedition that he, his wife and son were in when the car ran a red light. Pretty much hit them head on then spun around and again hit the rear.
P.s everyone is ok at this point.

+++on everyone OK! A car pulled out in front of me with my old EXPY and i was doin 60MPH when I hit them. My 8month pragnet wife and I walked away kind of. Expeditions are a exallent cars to crash

I remember an accident years ago when some crazy teenagers in a '90s passat were doing > 100mph on a city street at night, lost control and hit a H2 head on. The VW became a pile of scrap metal, it was almost impossible to tell what model it was. Unfortunately the 3 boys in it lost their lives.
The H2 had its front end slightly smashed in, but everyone walked out with minor injuries.

Glad everyone was ok , it is the other person that you need to worry about these days . careless ones usually from the Fast and Furious crowd , who tailgates you and when you look back they have been in a previous accident where they have rear ended some one else , seriously ? they should sanction race tracks for these kids where they can go do their thing after a safety inspection ( Tech ) .

As scary as this is to hear about, it really makes me feel safe when i drive my dads 09' expo. I once saw a head on accident involving a 3rd gen police expo and a camry, the police expo looked similar to this in the front and was missing a front wheel yet the cop was standing outside of the truck directing traffic totally unharmed and still managed to have all the emergency lights in the truck flashing
