Living in Alaska, anybody else from out here? Yeah, so Im 21 years old and just bought a 2004 Ford Expedition 2 months ago with 80k miles. This thing is a beauty! Runs like a Champ!!! Shes fully loaded with the leather nav system. Put some 22's black rims with removable chrome lip, tinted the windows all around, removed the roof rack and looking to do more! Im still uploading pics and having trouble with the profile pic.

Pictures on my album are with the chrome lip, but im driving with them off. Any suggestions? I have no chrome on my car so I took it off for the "All black look," but the red tail lights stick out like a sore thumb. Anybody recommend HID kits?

thanks, wish i wouldve painted the calipers before i had them put on. All in all it still turned out good. But i just took off the chrome lip a week ago.

Just uploaded a pic without the chrome lip, check them out and tell me what you think.
Youve got a nice ride yourself too. What all do you have besides wheels on your expy?

Thanks, Yeah Ak is a great getaway! Talk about fresh halibut, king crab and fish. Its the best guaranteed lol...Seward is nice too, but Ak is TOO big to not have a 2nd vacation out here. I moved from Ca to Ak and don't regret it.

Right now just the 22s, newly installed K&N CAI, Pioneeer HU with all the trimmings, and the skirt is painted black. I'm looking to go "all black" too so will be following your progression. This forum rock man, enjoy!

Great looking ride :flamingdevil: Welcome to the site. I'd switch the headlights up so there's no orange showing :pepper:

true, but its really a good idea to have some good studded or studless snow tires come winter. the roads are like ice rinks.

i run firestone winterforce studded tires on stock wheels from october-april/may.

Thanks, Im putting in an exhaust system 40 series hopefully soon. Any recommendations on which kind? or what series?

I plan on tinting the yellow marker lights, turning signals w/custom wording on it, and custom smoked tailights. Ive got big plans. Debating whether to lower it but its 4 wheel drive so i might just keep it like this.

As for winter shoes, Ill post it up as soon as i get home. Theyre stock with studs on them. NEEDED studs out here otherwise your a sliding bowling ball lol. Yeah salt doesnt work out here with these cold weathers.
Good thing I have a winter package installed in my expy(block heater, oil pan heater, battery pad heater) where I just plug it into a socket during these 0 degree weather times.:)

Yeah we're almost at the peek of Summer! So far, it doesnt get dark til 12ish am. Then you'll need some headlights, but all through the night(12am-4am) you can still see the road like its 6pm in the lower 48. Heres a pic of my stock wheels STUDDED. When winter comes, I'll probably get them painted black or something.
