Any ideas to trouble? I had error code 42, replaced front sensor & the connector and still have error code 42. Did disconnect power when replaced. Also had tried a used one I had on hand, and the new sensor I bought at Ford, same results.

Thanks

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME DOING AS WAS SUGGESTED ABOVE

The sensor DOES NOT use the mounting area as a ground for the circuit.

AGAIN THIS IS AN EXAMPLE OF SOMEONE GIVING BAD ADVICE

Your call if you want to proceed with this, if you make a mistake you may set off the air bags.
Get the wiring diagrams, disconnect the airbags then trouble shoot the harness. The power a multimeter provides will set off the bags so "do you feel lucky today..." Safety is of high concern here.

I probably won't mess around with using a meter on the pins. But may check the other end of connection. Can anyone tell me where abouts the other end of the front airbag connector goes to? I started to trace it up along the drivers side fender wall but stopped there as it went into a bigger conduit and it was 99 out and freakin humid lol.
Thanks
