Front blend door

I replaced the Fr. blend door 2004 Eddie Bauer it is still popping do I need to reset it by pulling the fuse or can I just unhook the negative battery cable for 60 seconds?

Do you have dual zone AC up front ? If so, there are two actuators. One high, and one low. Can you put your hand on the actuator and feel it "popping" ?

It's probably your actuator, a frequent failure point that should be replaced when you're up in there on that awful job behind the dash. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2Bh4pN27zI

I understand what your saying I had a mechanic to replace the second actuator and he worked on it for 3 hours and finally said the blend door had failed. I have checked this out and I believe him so I still have the clicking .I have checked and they make a replacement blend door kit to change it out without removing the dash except they do not make it for the 2004 Expedition of course. I cannot find the part I need to get from ford if anyone has a source to get this please let me know thank youi
