Front Parking Sensors

Anyone know if these can be added? Xlt didn’t come with them, think it’d be a good idea to have them with the wife driving it

I have a 2019 XLT and added after market front parking sensors. I had Car Toys install 6 sensors. Before I purchased my XLT, I asked about 4 or 5 dealerships and all said there is no Ford OEM front parking sensors for the Expedition and all said to go to an independent shop like Car Toys or Best Buy. I checked BB and they only install (you have to bring them the product) and I get a feeling like they don't install these often so I went with Car Toys. They have the product and also install (lifetime labor warranty & 3 year parts). The sensor brand was Audiovox. You can check Car Toys website. So far so good. It is not integrated with the OEM screen like the rear OEM sensors (I have navi & the 202A package so have the 8 inch screen).

thanks! I’ll check into it! I also have the 8” sync. So if it doesn’t display on screen does it give an alert?

The Audiovox unit comes with a quarter size speaker that stands maybe 3/4 inch high. The speaker comes with a small LED light (tear drop size) that goes from green, blinking yellow, to solid red as the front gets closer to an object. Car toys installed this speaker at the "A" pillar at the drivers side. The beeping will match to the blinking LED (solid green no beep, blinking yellow slow beep, solid red so constant beep). The speaker as a small toggle switch that you can switch it from off (no beeping sound), low, and high beep volume.

BTW, since the Audiovox unit only has the capacity to have 4 sensors, I had to purchase two units. The second unit has two sensors linked up to it, the outside sensors (one on each side of the vehicle) pointing at 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock.
