Just bought an 03' 2wd and its got a front end clunk when going over bumps. I jacked the truck and checked upper/lower ball joints first, all seem tight. I checked tie rod ends and control arm bushings, all seem tight. The ONLY thing that seems to have any free play is the lower bushing on both front shocks. Also the sway bar end links look suspicious but I cant make them clunk at all.
I can't find a part # for the lower bushings on the shocks. I don't have the $ to just replace both front shocks at $80 each just because I can't find a bushing part number, which should only cost about $10 anyway.
Is this bushing even replaceable? Or do they screw you into having to buy new shocks and transfer the coil over springs etc.?
