Fuse blows everytime I got over a hard bump

Help,

Fuse blows everytime I got over a hard bump. It knocks out the cruise control, auto door locks and steering power assist..

Anyone had this before?

it would be nice if you posted more information as to your year model engine which fuse blows That way people on the forum won't have to guess in order to help you

But it sounds like you may have a short in the wiring

Every time I go over a hard bump, the same one 20 amp(red) fuse blows.
It knocks out the cruise control, auto door locks and the Variable Assist Power Steering (EVO), fuse.

Makes the truck steering very sensitive. If I slightly turn the steering wheel it feels like loose, but it's not.. This been happening for over 4 years.

Battery secure.

Just asking to see if it's a common issue and fix..

Sucky MPG but I'm working on it..

still need more information as to which 20 amp fuse blows. Is it in the battery junction box or the central junction box. Check your owners manual and see which fuse number it is. That will give a better idea as to what circuits are on that fuse. Looking at the wiring diagrams for those functions there are a total of 7 fuses involved ranging from 30 amps to 5 amps

Stock 2000 5.4 is 260hp flywheel btw... 355 torque
