G2 Tailgate same as G3?

As far as the shape of the top of the tailgate (glass and above), can anyone confirm if there is a difference in the 07-10 Tailgates vs the 03-06?

The best thing to do is check with a body shop. They can look up the part numbers and let you know. Or call the dealership parts department.

I know that I can look up the part numbers, I'm sure they are different. All I need to know is what difference, if any, the top above the window has.

I think the difference will be at the bottom of the tailgate since they made g3's sleeker...find one and park next to it and see if there's a difference on the outside for alignment

So a family member had a g3...I noticed no difference in tailgate from mine...look exactly the same and his appears to have a gap at the bottom of his bumper from the bottom of the tailgate...looks like they're exactly the same

Glass is the same

The whole tailgate is the same. The only difference is the trim piece above the plate.
