I just got my first Expedion a few weeks ago and love it. It's a 1998 XLT 4 wheel drive bought from my mechanic to tow my 17 foot Travel Trailer. The truck had a salvage title (front end replaced) so still dealing with the legal issues of getting it registered in New York. I did pass the inspection so just waiting for the title now. Luckily it still has the sellers Kentucky plates on it so I am able to drive it. The odometer reads 103000 but the title listed that as not correct. The mechanic I bought it from swears it has less than 105000 miles on the engine. It belonged to his brother and I do know the guy pretty well but it's anybodys guess. The truck runs and looks great and tows my trailer like it's not even there. I do occasionally have to start it in neutral but that is being fixed, a minor issue I've been told. My friends can't believe I'm driving such a big vehicle but even a 5'1" tall 51 year old gal can manage this truck. I'm leaving first of June to begin workamping in New Hampshire so really need a reliable vehicle. I'm sure I'll have many questions for the experts.
