Ok I am looking to buy a new 05 eddie bauer expedition for the wife....looking for three main options, second row buckets, dvd, and power fold third seat....found one for msrp of 42,345.....I have gotten the deal down to 33K drive out here in texas..so thats about a 30,500 +TTL price.....I think it is a good deal...but I would prefer black but this one medium wedgewood....also got a deal for 34,600 drive out on a black one with sunroof, navigation, dvd, pretty much everything except buckets but that is a must for the second row....if it had that I would be all over that...my question is do I have more room to deal on the first one?

Also if I dont get naviation upfront, can I buy a unit off ebay and take out the 6 disc and just plug in the navigation? I did this on my chevy and it worked....

Since I have gotten out of the auto underwriting business, I haven't seen an invoice on any vehicle in about a year. I would just ask to pay invoice BEFORE rebates. With holdback, they'll still make $1500, but they still might not budge. It appears that you are close to that on the first one because I got employee A plan (1500 below invoice) from Ford on my XLT and was at drive out around 30K (Texas 6.25% tax).

Are you trading anything in? That's the only part that I would be careful about since they can readjust the value of that and sell the Expy well below invoice.

As for the navigation change, I don't have a clue. Anyone else?

She said it was about 600 under invoice..i think invoice was 37K minus rebates....I am actually getting it for 12K under msrp which I know is better than x plan - minus rebates

i am trying to figure out though if leasing would be better
