Google Play Music Auto-Starting

so my Google play music just started auto playing even when my app isn’t running! Is this Normal? I would assume not considering all other apps I have to open to hear when connected via Bluetooth.

Normal for me my spotify will do the same thing sometimes

I can understand it autoplaying when the app is still open, but I find it kind of annoying it still does so when the app isn’t even open!
