Ok guys check this out. I had some 4" Rancho lift springs for the back that I had on a while ago and just put them back on. When the wife ( she who must be obeyed) was driving it she didn't like it so I put stockers back on. I also added some pro comp 4" shocks to the back. Now on the front I had installed some lift keys about 2 years ago on it and hadn't really done anything to it since then. About 2 weeks ago I replaced upper control arms with ball joints, lower ball joint, tie rods (inner and outer), and sway bar end links. Yesterday I put some Monroe sensa traks (58518) coil overs on the front. I only had to crank the torsion bars about 1/2 inch to get a rake to it. The front sits at 38 1/2 from the ground to the fender and the back sits at 39. I think it turned out nice. The ride feels much better than the shocks I had on the front. Now all I need its bigger tires. Let me know what you think.

Keith

Yeah, I'm thinking 35's on 17x10's. I think that would look good.

So if I wanted to I could put some 4" lift springs on the back of my truck instead of my factory ones and then replace the front shocks with coil overs and get 4" of lift?

he had air suspension on all four corners like me... I have C/Os in the front and my tbars are all the way cranked and when I had 4" of lift in the back mine was raked pretty darn good.
I wouldnt put COs on a stardard suspension with Tbars cranked because you will literally have like 1/2" of up travel and barely any down travel
Now I have like 3" lift in the back and it sits front high lol.
I have those same coil overs on my truck. Looks nice.
Still dont know how you got 4" out of the front on stock suspension.

Thanks Expeditionary, I really don't know how I got 4" on the front but it is. I did put new torsion keys on the front to add some lift, but after I got everything together I only had to crank the drivers side to get it to match the passenger side. Like I said I was at 38" and only had to go 1/2 inch to match the passenger side. I rides really smooth, no jarring or hard thumps on potholes, I am truly loving this much more than just standard shocks on the front. Shoulda done it years ago. I really like your ride, I think I am gonna look at 35's now to go on it.

thanks man i appreciate it. Now youve got me thinking about getting either standard bars and shocks... or just getting some keys to get the front up higher with some of those springs and shocks like you have. Not a big fan of copying people but I'm a sucker for budget lifts haha.

if your going to get some 35s and you do any kind of offroading I cannot say enough about the BFG KM2s, its hard to break the back end loose in dirt sometimes lol. Theyre the greatest in every terrain ive taken them through. Never tried them is fine sand though (i think that may be their down fall, as with most MTs)

Are you runnin 35's on stock rims? How is that possible? Our rims are 7.5 and the tires are 12.5? I didn't think you could do that. Please explain??????

well you see what i did was drive it to tire kingdom and tell them to put on these here KM2s and they did hahah.
But seriously the Min width recommended for 12.50s is 8" and I told the guys i had 7.5s and they said it'd be fine as long as you dont air them down low offroad or youll lose the bead. 17x10s or 17x9s are in the near future for the truck. I have yet to have any problems with them but I think wide wheels with better offset or back spacing would help the stance look a little better. Theyre just expensive and idk what im really looking for
