Well I found myself with some time today before the rain started...I mounted the top of the air filter case that a Jeep sacrificed for my Expo...I will get pictures posted soon as the rain lets up...but very little modification to the piece from the Jeep to make it fit behind the bumper where I mounted the vent on the front side. I was able to make one steel bracket use an existing fender support bolt and had to ad one nut and bolt to the part and its ON and SECURE....I have not got a new piece of intake hose to run the length but this one almost reaches....so I put it on to direct the air coming in form the front...went for a test drive and watch my Edge and was amazed how FAST the intake temp dropped from what it did before...within in half a mile or just a mile...the intake temp dropped 15 degrees with the fresh air...and performance is right there...with the Gotts mod as well me extending the PVC and shaping the end to butt up against that fender area has made big difference...I have attached a picture once more of the sacrificed Jeep part...oh and the other thing is you cant even tell its there in the wheel well and only have the two screws on the front for the grill...I am a happy camper..maybe not as much as Clydesdale is with his ZF6 but close...cant wait to see if the MPG is better :superhack::pepper:
