I have had the XP for about 5 years, just bought a 20' travel trailer. My Michelin that i have had for about 60k miles are spent, and its time for some new rubbers.
The budget is not what it used to be, and i wanted to get an 8 or 10 ply tire this time around to help with towing this big ass travel trailer.
A close friend of mine runs a Goodyear Tire shop, he sells TONS of these GT Radial brand tires, this Savero model specifically. He recommended them to me because I can get a 8ply tire under my budget of $700 w tax installed and he has sold so many of them with little complaints, even the LT rated ones.
I have never heard of this tire, and he wouldn't steer me wrong, but just curious if anyone has any experience with them?
Another question i have been trying to do some research on is, does getting an 8 or 10 ply tire help with towing vs a 'regular' P rated tire?
Thanks!
