Has anyone tried these fog lights?

i would advise against it...the projectors will concentrate the light...fogs are designed to spread the light along the ground so you will take that away...you could still do halo rings but add HID kit to your fogs...that how i have mine...CCFL halos with retrofitted projector headlights and HID fogs...6000k output with headlights being 85w and fogs at 35w

I would like to upgrade my head lights. I have stock and think they can be better. I have read on here that simply replacing the bulbs really do not make a big difference but hear a lot about HID conversions. Does this mean replacing the entire light housing with a new one or using the factory housings and converting the builb styles? I am confused but would like to increase the light that my headlights can produce...

hid is plug and play. dont need new housing. replace bulbs and find a place to put the ballast. some say you need projectors others say it is fine in the stock housing.

Absolutely. Don't use a projector if all you want to do is piss off your fellow drivers coming at you who you just blinded. They are perfect for that. And hopefully, collecting equipment violations too. (But that does not happen enough)

I have HISs in my factory lights...if u take a picture...that's exactly how it looks...but to my naked eye looking at them and looking at the many other cars/trucks I've seen...it doesn't show like that pic illustrated...I have yet to see or feel that someone is blinding me...I'm not saying it doesn't happen...I just don't see it...I've never been flashed for it...the only time I did bother someone was at a stop light since my truck sits higher....I pulled up behind them and my lights hit their side mirror in their face...ON PURPOSE...not getting into that one...racial thing...anyway...I pulled up behind cops...faced cops...for the past 2 yes and they're everywhere here...and ive been to/thru several states...no probs...at minimum put them in your fogs....save up some cash and get the retrofit with projectors...you'll still be happy

As freeway said i've had mine for 3 years. no problems. rarely flashed. even after lifting the expy. I do have my lights aimed down a little. its all a personal preference. thats why i said some say no projectors others say projectors only. jered22 i have pics of my hid's in my album if you want to see what they look like. I have a pic looking at the front of my truck and one of a wall showing light pattern.
