have to replace front axle drivers side

Does my 1999 expedition have vaccum disconnect if not can i get a vaccum front axle and install it? the 4wd switch is a4wd, 4l, 4h.

HUH? if you need a front DS axle, just go to the auto parts store and buy one for 60 bucks.

I am not sure what you are asking so based on my assumption of your wording I will try to help.

I beleive what you are asking is if there are vacum operated hubs like on certain GM products that will allow the wheel to free wheel while not turning the axle.

The 99 expy does not have a system like that.

I am unsure if something like that could be adapted or even if Fords have anything like that.
