Headlights not turning on

Hi, first post here, seems like a pretty good forum so far

Anyway, I'm having a problem with the headlights on the 98 Expo I just bought. The headlights will not turn on, unless I hold the dimmer switch all the way back towards me, which is kind of a pain driving around town, since they're the brights. Fog lights will also not turn on, but this may be unrelated. I checked all the fuses related in the truck and engine bay, but they're all fine. Any ideas what I can do to narrow down what it could be, or what I should start checking? Thanks in advance.

WUT IT DUZ-Welcome from tha CHICAGO-LAND area!!!!!

I would check out tha bulbz 1zt-since they have a dual filament-it could B that yer lowz went out even if yer highz still work since itz 2 functionz per bulb on yer setup-it duz happen sumtimez!!!!!

Could be a bad headlight switch or connection after the switch to the main connector. Get a dvom and test it.
