Heated Side mirrors with Turn Signals

I have a 00 XLT and plan to install the EB heated mirrors with integrated turn signals. Can anyone confirm if it is already prewired or not?

MY 99 was NOT prewired, I had to run the wire into the rear defog switch for the heat. The turn signals would take more work too

I don't have a 2000 but I'm pretty sure it is not prewired

so I finally got a pair of turn signal mirrors. theyre not heated though but I can live with that

I have to get them painted before I begin re-wiring the lamps in. pics to follow when I get to it

03 must have been the first year heated mirrors came standard because I have heated mirrors and I know it wasn't an option I purchased

Mine came with heated mirrors, though it doesn't have the little defrost image on the bottom corner like my friend's 03 does.

Interesting... I have the defrost image on mine. Was yours an early build?

Yea, pretty sure. I think mine was built in Feb, 02.

Have you ever pulled the mirror? Mine was just 2 wires with spade connectors at the end. We bought it used, so it may have been modified by the previous owner? Or maybe the wiring was already there and they just swapped some aftermarket heated mirrors in?

I was reading through the owners manual of my 99'. It talks about heated mirrors, and blinkers also. The guy who I bought the expy from adhered some kind of mirror on the front of them though... Also, he removed the relay that runs that circuit. Douche. I'm working through the truck to repair the screw ups he made on a perfectly good truck.
