I was in the same boat trying to make same decision. I was at the dealer and parked the platinum right next to the stealth. The interior differences is what made me choose the platinum, so much more refined and luxurious.

I also liked the lighter color roof inside the platinum.

The price difference to me wasn't that much to me.

The sound blocking "active noise control" is absolutely insane how quiet it is inside. It really is noticeable and great imo especially on trips!

For all the included content, the pricier Platinum is my pick. After all, you're asking for suggestions on how to spend your money.

One thing I have recently decided is to lease the Expy, so I will keep it bone stock. I don't want to have to worry about the long term reliability of this thing.

Like some of you, I plan on upgrading to a Cybertruck or Electric F-150 in the next 3 years.

The main question is do I want to spend $70/month for:
1. ANC
2. Massage Seats
3. 25 more HP

but have the downsides of:
1. 22" wheels instead of 20"
2. More chrome (ugly to me)
3. Light headliner (ugly and gets dirty easier with kids)

I'm leaning towards the Stealth at this point. I really like the blacked out look and ride noise will probably be similar to my XLT with 20"

Kr doesnt offer massage seats or noise cancellation. Honestly, without the noise cancel, the ride is just as quiet, until the tires wear down. Then it gets noticeably louder. When i had mine, i noticed over time the hwy ride was getting much louder, particularly in the back.
yeah I misread MESSAGE CENTER as "Massage Center"

My thoughts:

- Stealth also has 22" wheels. They are just mostly black versus chrome or brushed.
- wrapping the chrome in black vinyl can still be done on a leased vehicle

I rented a Limited the other day and it was missing two things that my 2018 XLT has:
- no place to put your phone. Mine is between the shifter and the cupholders. Is this gone from the 2020?
- no power button to release the second row seats so you can slide them forward. Is this also gone?

That slot is gone from higher level packages. In its place is the flip cover for the cup holders.

I cannot remember what package level, but maybe the 202 and higher no longer has the slot that you speak of.

Shoot, you're right. So basically, if I want CCD, I have to go with 22"???

Your truck looks nice, but my personal preference is to not have too much chrome. They just slap it everywhere including the Platinum on the door (which I would immediately debadge if I got it). I am more into the blacked out look but funny enough, even on the Stealth, they still left the door trim piece Chrome!

Just the beltline, part of the grille, and Ford badges are chrome. The door handles are body colored, unlike the Platinum.

Ford did away with the seat release button after 2019. I gueas they felt it was pointless as most people just used the top of the seat. When i had mines, ppl didnt even notice the button was there. If you want ccd and 20in wheels, you can get the base navigator, if you can find one that is. They have black headliners, active noise cancellation on Top of better insulation, less chrome, and optioned like ur xlt with a few upgrades like 360 camera and will cost the same as the limited or plat your looking at. The things youll miss out on is ventilated seats, massage seat (30 way)option, and adaptive cruise as an option.

The top trim won out for me.
I really like the soft touch on the door panels. The leather is way nicer which you say isn’t a plus for you but it is really not comparable to the limited leather

the noise cancelling is great. Mine is super quiet especially for how big they are

I never thought I’d use massaging seats but in long trips it’s really nice to keep you awake and eliminate that numb butt. Also the lane keeping. Never thought I’d use that but on road trips it helps with driver fatigue as well. I find I can load the kids and drive all night for 12 hours while they sleep If I get a cat nap in around 1am

the led headlights and auto high beams are awesome

the hd tow pkg was a must for me. So many improved things with that pig I can’t believe it is such a cheap option. No way ford breaks even on that one

I also am not a fan of the chrome but with a wheel swap you’re looking at grill door handles belt line roof rack and steps. Pretty easy bits to Black if motivated. It kinda grew on me. I plan to go raptor steps and custom rack so it’ll really just be door handles and belt line at some point

It all depends on when Ford buys my lemon.

My wife just told me she wants to have 8 seats and will not "downgrade" to the captain chairs as that is only 7 seats.

Do the Platis have an option for a second row bench or is that found only on the Limited?

Yes they can be had with a bench but they are rare.
