So My 1999 Expedition just died on me the other day while driving. It has spark but no fuel is getting to the engine. So far I have:
-Checked the fuses/relays - they are all good
-Checked the fuel pump reset switch
-Replaced the fuel pump
-Replaced the fuel filter
-Checked for codes - None
I'm scratching my head as to what to check next:Frustrated:.. Any help or ideas would be great! I'm tired of working on it..
Also this is my first post so Hello! thanks for the awesome forum!!

Do you have fuel pressure?

If so what is it?

I dont have a gauge to check but when i went to bleed the shrader valve there was no pressure at all. Could it be a bad fuel pressure regulator?

Not likely. You would have some fuel pressure.

I would check for voltage at the fuel pump connector to determine if its the pump itself or in the circuit. You would need to have someone else turn the ignition to the "run" position so you can check it when it initially cycles.

Since you do not mention it I assume you cannot hear the pump run at all ?!

Are you certain the hose was secure in the pump housing?

If you have no fuel pressure I would say no.

I would check fuel pressure at the schrader valve to be certain if its a pump, fuel line issue or possibly if the pcm is just not commanding the injectors to open for misc reasons since you say you do have spark.

Did you check pressure at the schrader valve? If there is no pressure, it is possible that the new fuel pump is not good. Also double check that the right pump went in. We have had the wrong pump in the right box come from NAPA before and that ended up pumping way too much fuel through the carb (fuel injection pump on carb setup). I cannot imagine they would get the wrong one for a vehicle that has only ever had EFI, but you never know.
