There are a few different kinds of fluid that could be leaking Fuel, water, trans, oil, brake or power steering fluid or even washer fluid, At least you can do is crawl under the expy and get a close look at the fluid and give better details Elsewise you will get all kinds of answers including this one.

BTW "underneath somewhere" could be anywhere from the front bumper to the rear bumper.

Passenger side or Drivers side?

Could possibly coming from the front heater core or the rear of the heads or the lines that lead to the rear heater core. Or the water lines that run under the intake manifold. Now that you have identified the fluid start looking in the areas mentioned.
You should be able to park it in a dry spot and then look to see if you can narrow down the area it is coming from.
