Sorry for all the questions but I am really excited to start modding my new 2010 Expedition.

Can anyone advise on how difficult it is to install HID lights in the headlights and foglights? Are the headlights difficult to get out?

Is there anyone you recommend for a "plug n' play" HID kit?

Thanks!

the most trouble i had was getting my hands in the locations i picked to hide the ballast...i didnt have a lift...but other than that stock head lights are easy to remove and the HID bulbs/ballast are easy to install...took me 30 mins...but i couldnt get my hands in the locations...

its TOO EASY!!!

The bigger problem you'll have, and maybe the guys that have done the mod can chime in here, is glare and other drivers constantly flashing you. These headlights are not designed for HID's and do not have the correct cut-off pattern.
I have wanted to do it since getting my '10 expy as well, as both of my other cars have the factory xenons. And the light output is amazing!! Let me know how it works as I still want to do it...

it works wonders...i've seen other vehicles with them and they dont bother me...i have them installed and no one has flashed me...i have them in my stock housings right now...paid $140 for projectors/HID kit and had problems with the driver side but the passenger side wasnt bright enough to me...i'll engage again with the projectors now that i have a relay and see what it does for output...plus it was aimed on the ground and i want more lift...i'll work on it saturday...

It appears as if the headlights take a H13 (9008) single light bulb that operates at low and high beam. What have you guys used for HID lights so you keep both high and low beam?

The fogs take a 9145 it looks like????
