High Output Alt

Hey,

Does anyone here already have a HOA in their truck. I'm thinking down the line I will put in my system and want to be ready when I do. I will be doing the big 3 shortly and will prob drop in a 240amp Alt. I know it shouldn't but could it have any ill effects on the stock system?

i put one in my fire depts 99. all the emergency lights and radios would actually kill it while idling. i used on from american power systems(i think that was the name) it put out 165 amps at idle insted of the 140 ish at road speed.

i have a 200amp in mine...no probs...if you have equipment in your truck you'll need it...im going to be pushing 2200 rms total between 2 amps...7 monitors...wheel lights...underbody kit...wheels lights...so the juice is good for me
