I was looking at the hood arms for the F150 compared to ours and they look very similar. Anyone ever try F150 hood light mounts? I'm looking to mount some things off the nose and could use some easy mounts there... Might have to order a set and see how it goes.

I did the SDHQ ones. They have one listed for the 18’-19’, but they are the F-150 brackets.

I should probably just start asking all my questions directly to you... :anitoof:

These are exactly what I'm looking for! Should have thought to check with them as they helped me source and build my Raptor... Man, so pumped right now. By the looks of how they mount they look quite sturdy. What is your experience with them? Sturdy as they look? I'm looking to use them to mount support rods for a camera setup off the nose. A front hitch will be holding the weight, these will just be triangulating support to a vertical post so the force will be towards the nose. Something like this....

I think the SDHQ ones are about as sturdy as you will get. You can grab the light and make the bracket flex, but also be moving the truck a little. Remember they are bolted to aluminum. They use two mounting locations. One on the hood hinge bolt and one on the fender bolt. They are a huge pain to install because of this but others only use one. The little tab bolts to the fender, then to the main bracket that bolts to the hood hinge.

You could also run something off the roof rack rails or build something coming out the rear receiver and to the front. Looks like a fun job.
