How do I make it look pretty?

So I have a 2000 XLT that I got for $400, and it's in amazing condition for 17 years. Everything works, smooth engine all electronics work flawlessly.
But.....im trying to make it look as good as I can, so how do i get rid of the caked on dirt that inevitably happens on the doors and dash?
Any particular chemicals or cleaner?
Here's what I'm talking about.
It is cleanable, just trying to find an easier way.

Horsehair (!) brush and dish soap in hot water to clean leather/leatherette and textured plastics.

You can get these brushes in personal grooming or shoe care sections of grocery stores or pharmacies, maybe 5 bucks.



This was a nasty, grimy door panel from a junkyard, taken off a car missing glass & exposed to the elements, and then left laying around in my yard for a couple months.

You got a great deal on that exspy. Post some before and after pictures if you can. How many miles on her?

Colorbond.com is the only company that has been authorized by Ford that can duplicate the interior color 100% for carpet... leather... plastic... vinyl... I'm getting some to do my doors and other items

Melamine sponges on Amazon are the same as Magic Erasers and cost much less.

Armor All interior whipes, and A TON of scruping.

I bought this 04 Expedition from my father in January. I immediately when to detailing the interior. Took me 3 hours just to do the front of the cab, but it looks better than new!

For the textured plastic I use a plastic brush with reasonably strong bristles, scrub the panels with rubbing alcohol or interior cleaner. I used Woolite upholstery cleaner for cloth seats. To maintain the interior plastics between cleaning I use meguiar's quik interior detailer.

I like Tuff Stuff Upholstery cleaner. Works great on almost everything (I use a diff product for leather).
