How long did your Battery Last?

Almost all batteries are made by Exide, Delphi, and Johnson controls so picking your favorite brand doesn't mean much. Some have more plates, better plates, bigger plates etc but the price is what normally gives you the longest lasting ones. Where you live and how often you use your starter plays into it also.

Supporting 07navi, most batteries were made by Johnson Controls, or their affiliates.
Not much difference in any brand of Gold Series batteries. Johnson Controls was bought out by Brookfield Business Partners in 2018.

I have found the best battery value is offered by Costco selling only Interstate (made
by (now) Brookfield Business Partners. Costco does not install batteries, but allows you to swap out in the parking lot, saving you a return trip for your core refund.

My original 2004 battery (bought new) lasted for 10 years. Replaced with a Motorcraft
in 2014 (still working).
