How to install heated seats

I have a 98 Eddie Bauer expedition with out heated seats does anyone know how to install aset of heated seats from a 99 I bought them cheap and would like to use the heated unit if not I can switch out the controls and just use the non heated units thanks. The plugs are different.

The 97 and 98 models did not have heated seats therfore the connectors would be different. It would be possible to wire the 99 seats . Looking at the wiring diagrams you would need to run TWO power circuits and a ground circuit for each seat Each of the two power circuits would go to each seat and you can use the ground for each seat. How good are you at reading and understanding wiring diagrams?
Another problem would be if the 99 seats have good heater pads in them.

I might just delete the heated part and just rewire the seat for the 98 plug.

That is what I used. Just added buttons to both front seats by the buttons to move them. The fabric is just clipped on, so it was was a fairly simple job.
