I have a tranny line that comes out of the radiator then makes a sharp curve then heads back to the tranny. It is a hard line that comes out of radiator then is crimped to a flexible line for about 5-7 inches, then crimped to another hard line. It is leaking at the crimped points. Can I just cut out the crimped flexible line and replace it with a flexible hose and some clamps?? :)

had the same problem with my 99, I just used a mini tubing cutter and cut the tubing as close to the crimp and put a small bubble flare on the end.

used a length of fuel line, use the fuel injection clamps they don't cut into the rubber hose .

So far it worked for me been about 2 months and no leaks.

I would just replace the whole line by making up a stainless steel braided line with the appropriate connectors. Earls has fittings for just about every connection imaginable.
