...who designed 3rd gen headrests for Ford, somebody gonna need a ride to the hospital.

If you thought the design sucked from using it, you ain't seen nothing yet until you try reupholstering the things.

Seriously... EVERYTHING that can be done wrong on it, is.

Hell the moron even put all the clips on the rubber/plastic pieces facing in the wrong direction, so they do NOT actually clip to anything.

Wrap the foam in a thin plastic grocery store bag, take a vacuum to it and suck the air out. It will compress the foam enough that it should slip right in the cover with the bag around it. Then you can laugh at the mothers who designed it.

There's a video on The Seat Shop's Site. They make nice stuff.

Lots of other vacuum-suck videos on line too. What the hell do you put in your hair that ate up the headrest covers?

Anyway, getting the covers on is easy.


It's getting the stupid f-ing plastic&rubber trim pieces to click back into place that is a nightmare.. shit's made of brittle plastic on the inside.
