I'm going to go in an test drive and possibly purchase a 05 Expy Eddie Bauer 4x4 on Monday. Its got 125,000 miles looks pretty clean overall. There is a 1"-2" cut in the leather on the drivers seat and a small paint chip by the gas door. That is all I seen from the quick look over this afternoon and the pictures I seen in the internet ad. The tires have atleast 50% tread with equal wear. It has the rear entertainment system, power 3rd row seat, tow package, power sunroof, roof luggage rack, back up sensors, westen full grill/head light gaurd & running boards.

From ya'lls experience with your vehicles, is there anything specific that I should keep my eye out for?

They are asking $12,995 for it and they include a 5yr/100,000 warranty on the motor, trans, and transfer case. It NADA books for $13,700.

Thanks for any help!

It sounds a little high but nothing horrible. I would see if you can get it for $11,500. maybe less if your paying cash. Just make sure(might sound dumb) the waranty is for an additional 100k miles. I don't know the dealer but you never know.

That's about $500 more than I paid for my '05, with 85K, in great condition -- about 2 months ago. But I've noticed prices sway quite a bit based on location, and even time of year.

Yeah I've been shopping around for a year now, trying to upgrade from a 97 cherokee, here in the Rapid City area the car market is crazy. Most of the dealerships price everything over the book value for some reason and they won't budge on the prices. I've walked out on a handfull of deals because of it. I'm about to drive to Denver or MLPS to get a vehicle if I can't make a deal pretty soon.

I've got him down to $9,999 and he pays tax/title/license. The 5yr/100k warrenty starts when it leaves the lot at that milage. I'm bout to pull the trigger on this truck.
