I'm seriously considering putting a lift kit on my 17. I don't understand what the difference is between a lift kit and a leveling kit. To me my truck is already level. Am I missing something?

Why a lift kit Andy? I know many colleagues that did this for off-road purposes and immediately noticed a decrease in MPG with highway travel speed. A lift kit only increases your wind drag profile and stability.
......Unless you are going through another mid life crisis!!:mfr_omg: IMHO, it would be better to purchase another handgun!!

I was thinking that I would like to have it sit up a little taller. I am thinking about a 2" lift. I've heard from several people that they didn't see any noticeable change in mileage or handling.

I like the idea of buying another handgun :D you can never have enough of them. :D

How can the vehicle info be added so it appears at the bottom of your posts.
John,

Click on your name in the upper right hand side of the screen. That will open your profile, and the select signature on the left hand side of the screen under settings. If you want to add pictures, create an album and upload smaller versions there. Then you can add them below your signature like in mine below.

Hell, I went thru my first "mid life" at 25.....had a motorcycle and a 17 y/o girlfriend...ok, she turned 18 while we were "dating". Thank God "dad" was nowhere to be found or he might have had one of those handguns and ended me!

Handgun and ammo. Plus more ammo for the long guns. Then some more for the shotguns. Then some more for the handguns.

Ammo is like money; always better to have too much than not enough.

If you shoot at a high rate then buying in bulk is more cost effective, even if reloading.

I usually buy my pistol ammo a case at a time. When I go to the range I'll shoot 2-3 hundred pistol rounds. I've gotten pretty accurate at 7 yards. Now I'm working on 15 yards. I'd love to do one of those combat ranges.
