Hi all, I've had my 98 Eddie Bauer 5.4L 4x4 for a couple months now and I'm starting to look into ways to boost general horsepower. It's stone stock as it is, making around it's original 235hp but I'm looking for the most inexpensive way to change that. Just wondering if anybody knows of a series of powertrain mods to recommend that would push the horsepower to around 300 or so???
Now I do have some experience with modifying Ford engines, mostly the 5.0 in my 93 mustang but the modular is still new to me as far as modification and I'm essentially lost as to what works well to boost that HP rating. I'm fine with dropping some cash on modding it but essentially what I'm looking for is the most economical way to do so.
I'd appreciate any advice you guys got, thanks
