So if you've read my other thread my 2000 ford expedition has a terrible surge when you hold the accelerator steady. I've tried everything except the injectors and replacing all the cop's... Does anyone know what the resistance should be in a 2000 ford expedition 5.4l injector?

So just an update.. I tested all and it's 14.5 ohms for the resistance. All were alright except one that would start at about 19 and drop .1 every five seconds. Maybe it's bad? Anyone know? I'm ordering a reman set of 8 so we'll see if it fixes my problem

Hey guys, I get my injectors today, and I was just wondering the best way to relieve the fuel in the lines. Should I take the fuel pump fuse out and start it? Or what

There is a release valve on the passenger side. Push it down with a pick or something. The valve looks like a tire valve and is on the fuel rail.

NEVER release fuel pressure that way you will get raw gas in your face. and yes talking from experience. the best way is to pull the fuel pump fuse and crank it over it might start but might not if it doesnt ur good to go!!

That's what I thought my man. Thanks for the advice. I go them in last Saturday and installed one side. I started lookin at them while a was puttin back on everything for that side and they looked different. So I went by murphys law and went ahead and started her up. Wrong damn injectors and fuel sprayed everywhere. So now I'm sending these back and getting new ones. Fml
