power point

I'm talking about the 12v powerpoint on the dash board. It looks and works like a cigarettel lighter. Someone broke the little door off, so I bought a replacement, thinking it installed from the face. Apparently not.

Not sure if this helps but ....

I think to remove the black part you have to remove the inner part first, then gain access to the back, which you might be able to get from the glove box or by removing the center stack that houses the radio, then reach around and remove it from the backside. Should be held on with tabs.

Thanks

I was afraid I'd have to "go under". Oh well. I'm a former RI resident; still miss Bristol.
