was looking a a couple of newer 4.6 engines OUT of cars and 1 out of a expedition....newer then my engine,mines a 97.
anyway....my intake is aluminum. these newer engines,"plastic" manifold intake. only thing not plastic is throttle body.
mechanic says he perfers aluminium......
anyway....block is small to....heads r huge. both heads together is larger then block.
very interesting to see my motor on ground out of its car or truck......all same chit...they switch this and that and it fits in any ford. from expedition to lincoln to crown vic....
