Interior Lighting

On my 2000 Expo Police...they come from the factory with the dome lights inop so when you open any of the four doors the lights wont come on...does anyone know if they just unplug these in each door or is a different jamb switch?

ahhh can't remember but I know someone had a ex-police expy and there is a mod to make the lights in-op that you can reverse... wanna say its called a black out mod or something.... hope they chime in... i wanna say they had a pic of a patrol car as their avitar...

yeah im not sure if its like the newer car/trucks but they have a "black out mode" that can be turned on/off by the dealer in computer. not sure how it works on the older trucks though.
