Hi all, just got an 03 Eddie Bauer and I love the truck but being used, it has a few issues that I am OCD about and want to get taken care of. This is one of them. It did not happen today oddly enough, but it sometimes will make a gurgling noise when the AC is on, then it will hiss, get louder, get quieter, click/go back to normal ops and then start over again. AC blows cold and works fine, rear AC does not have the knocking issue or anything. It does it when the system is in auto or when I have manual control.
Is there any sort of control box back there or vac hoses or anything that is able to be gotten at without removing the whole dash that could cause this? I've had somewhat similar AC issues on automatic climate controlled Fords before and on my old SHO, it wound up being a small control box behind the glovebox. Maybe something similar for the Expo?
