My car has had intermittent loud start up but also sometimes has a long time turning over. The dealership can’t recreate it. It happens at home in my garage when it’s been sitting. Would the cam phaser issue cause the long start up as well. It also developed a vinegar type smell when the car starts up. Again the dealer didn’t help with this either. They changed the cabin filter but that didn’t help.
They told me I’m probably just hearing the normal air handler noise. But it just started happening in the last 4 months or so. It’s a 2019 platinum expedition with 36000 miles.
