Hi all,
This is my first post, I just bought a 2001 Expedition Eddie Bauer Edition. It has the VHS/VCR/VCP in the Center Console and the Video Monitor seen here,
I bought a replacement for it because the ribbon cable that connects the electronics to the video screen snapped
. Once I install it I plan to put a DVD player under the passenger seat and hook up to the RCA's on the back of the Overhead Monitor. I know that there is a button that switches between the FM Modulator and the IR Headphones. My question relates to the Headphones.
The Vehicle did not come with the IR Headphones. So I will need to purchase a few pairs. My question is, will these headphones work? Also, on the 2001 can the kids listen to whatever is on the monitor while another sourse plays through the speakers?
