Maybe Ford finally listened and put a better indicator on the vehicle for when the junk oem batteries are dying, you know, instead of randomly disabling features and functions throughout the vehicle one by one? Seems appropriate to have a random audible indicator with no description anywhere on the 150sqin of screen space in the rig...

Could be telling you that you are near a crosswalk.
I think sync 4 has a handful of warning chimes, cross walks, rail roads, school zones, etc. I have heard that sometimes it will activate when you aren't that close to the "hazard" due to gps errors. So you could be a street or two away from a rail road crossing and it would still chime. I think there is a setting to turn off those warnings. Might want to check that? I think the sync nav/map options.

6k on my 2022 XLT Max, no bulletins, very happy with the ride, sync 4 has the same connection issues with IPhones as my 2019 & 2021 F150’s, mine came loaded with led’s, front sensors, etc. After owning for 3 days and 60 miles. I dumped an entire late on the passenger seat, that’s always good for the heated & cooled seats!

15k km / 9mnths overall happy but would be happier if it wasn't +$100k truck up here.

Issues at delivery: center console door stuck (replaced), front USB not connected (fixed), rattle in driver mirror area (dealer is trying to pinpoint source), rear window seal pinched under trim (replaced), random bits of black trim lying around (still a mystery). Nothing new since delivery.

Only major complaint is the ride stiffness (304 SPP without CCD) and the rattles (I blame the sunroof for a general lack of stiffness in the body).

It’s a forum. Very few people come here to praise how amazingly trouble free their vehicles are. Those that are not complaining typically are modified their vehicles.
As to your question, I know 3 people with 2022 expeditions with 4-8 months of ownership, they love them. Two don’t like how “rough” the suspension is but they didn’t get CCD and both have HD tow. One thinks the blue cruise is great when it works, but doesn’t like how limited it is compared to Tesla.
As for issues. I have probably been the most vocal of my group about the crap tires ford put on it and the vibration, I’ve gotten 3 sets in 7 months. The last set is night and day better.

Thats right. I’m on F150 forum, corvette, Bronco, tundra…99% is complaints and modifications…….then complaining about modifications

My 22 expy is excellent. No issues. add me to the camp of rough ride with no CCD. Although I refer to the ride at occasionally choppy

Going of this thread, I'd say 90% of owners are the outlier. Only 8 or so ppl has had actual problems with their 22s.

is it normal to have the chrome on the door not line up in a straight line? Is this an easy fix at the dealer? I can’t unsee this now, it’s bothering me.

Way too soon to get any type of useful feedback in regards to overall reliability of a 22+ Expedition. Those singing praises at 2k, 5k, 7k, 20k, etc. are referring to what reviewers would call "initial quality." I was still loving my Ford Probe at 50k. By 80k and at only 3years old I had sold it for an 80% loss and was happy to do it.

As far as the truck itself, I love pretty much everything about it: style, interior design/comfort/amenities, ride/handling/power, driver assistance and safety features, technology, etc. etc. It's a very impressive vehicle, with a lot of very well-though-out details throughout.

As you say, at 4 mo/2,274 miles, all I can speak to at this point is my satisfaction with the truck — if it holds up well I'll be very happy....

Yes, your rear door isn't lined up correctly. A body shop should be able to adjust it. I would take it to the dealer. Curious to see what the gap between the front and rear doors looks like.

All the other doors are lined up perfectly. This is a 2023 Expedition Limited. Had major alignment issues on the hood as well which had to be adjusted but it required major body work to get perfect. I decided to just leave it be. Driver side hood gap was 1 mm gap while passenger side was 1.75 mm gap. Didn’t noticed the door not aligning until this week. Speaker cover on center console is wavy so I have a replacement part ordered. Also, large gap in the instrument cluster top left corner. Very rough ride, not very happy with the quality or experience overall.

The one constant, everyone with the base suspension and 22s say the ride is rough. Noone with the ccd has said they didn't like the ride so far that I've seen.

I have a 10+ minute ride to and from my house on a winding hilly dirt/gravel road that can get pretty bad (like it is now) when it needs to be graded (which the county doesn't do often enough), and the ride with the CCD is very impressive, and much better than the air suspension on my previous Navigators. I rented a base model '22 Expedition while my new one was in the shop and there was a huge difference on that road — very bumpy and jarring ride.

No, I am not having a positive experience. Spent my weekend dealing with a dead vehicle and ford roadside being unable to assist with a tow after stringing me along for 12 hours. Code is showing a high pressure fuel pump issue and the vehicle is unable to start. 5900 miles. Dealership said it would be weeks until they could look at it.

This is less than 30 days after it came out of the shop for repairs due to the lift gate fiasco.

I would love to have it towed to Jim Farleys home so he can use it to shuttle his family around. The guy claims to know Ford has a quality issue, but I don’t think he truly gets it or is the guy to fix it. I would be shocked if he’s around much longer.

Looks good from here, though!

I came on here to comment because I recently bought a 2023 Limited with HD Tow. In fact I ordered the SUV without HD Tow but it was required to be put on after I ordered. The suspension is very rough and my 2 year old in the back seat is getting jostled around quite a bit. The car seat is completely secured and it's shaking so much that the seat is rattling on every surface bump on the road. I'm already having major regrets buying this car.

I am having the same issue with a 22 max xlt 4x4 tow Package, NO CCD. Ford dealership drove it and said everything is in spec. Put new defender tires on it and it didn’t change anything. I have a vibration that makes me car sick and the kids voices in the back rows shake. Seems to happen at all speeds, especially on concrete city streets.

Any luck with fixing the issue or suggestions? I’m contemplating a suspension upgrade if that solves the issue.
