Is there a new source for coils (COPs) on the block?

When I replaced the coils on my previous Expedition (98, 5.4L) the go to was the two sellers on ebay that charged $100 for 8 COPs with lifetime warranty.

NOw I see a few sellers with the YELLOW body coils, 8 pack for $40. Is this a legit deal, or junk?

There are a few threads on here where the owners cheaped out and went with the knockoffs. Then you read about the problems afterward. You never see a thread where the OEM has given problems other aging.

You want cheap - you get cheap.

Search the forum and then make an informed decision.

Junk... stick with Motorcraft. Even the supposed "Performance" coils from MSD and Accel fall short of the Motorcrafts, been there, done that, throwing out nearly new parts sucks. Pay once, cry once.
