Ford's web site shows me there is a software update for my Sync3 system (currently running 3.0.19205 and it is telling me 3.0.20204 is available). It offers me the USB option or the over the air option via wifi. My Expedition has my home wifi configured and there is a wifi access point in my garage. When I manually check for updates in the infotainment screen, it says no updates found. I know the USB thing is simple enough, but I'd prefer to just make the system work like it's supposed to. HAs anyone encountered this before?

I connected my '21 to my home wifi this morning and at first it told me it was up to date and then a few minutes later it showed that an update was downloading. It's either a huge update or the speeds from the download server are miserably slow. Nonetheless, it finally finished. Did you give it a few minutes?

Yes. I have tried it several times. It connects easily, tells me there are not updates, and makes the 'last checked' date and time current each time.

I just copied the files to USB for my next long-ish drive. I guess we'll do it like the map update :)
