Just installed my alpine amp and bazooka. Hits hard! 8in sub is good but a 10in would be too much. I placed it behind the third row seat

y does it look like your capacitor is just sitting in a 5gal bucket or is it just look that way

from my understanding...the capacitor isnt needed...i saw a video on youtube and the guy showed using a 500 watts that it actually dropped voltage down to 9 compared to no capacitor where the 500 watts only dropped to 12...both started with 14V

Lol yes the capictor is actually charging. That why its sitting there. I put the capacitor in because my uncle suggested it. And it looks cool but I shelled out 37 bucks for it, the system hits hard., I'm very happy I did this. Having zero base before just wasn't right, now I know I can damage ear crumbs but don't plan to. It was so easy to in stall with the amp kit from amazon.

looks great definitely a starter kit but im sure it sounds really good those old alpine amps rock caps are a 50/50 imo they will work for low level systems anything over say 1000w rms and they become over priced volt meters should do good for the setup u have looks great i understand the need for bass but not eveyone is n to earth shattering bass like me lol enjoy it but it will usually lead to wanting more

Yeah you're right I already want more. But, I will not do it, can't spend anymore money. It was fun hooking it up. Now just enjoying music with some bass.

yea the 1 about learning fiberglass and such hell yea im down if i know how to do it ill teach anyone who wants to learn i also added a comment to ur sticky thread expo of the month check it and let me know what u think
