I swapped my sway bars and I wouldn't expect Ford to cover my end links. Hell, I swapped in my own parts that are breaking their end links. Why should they pay?

You where one of the first to get the sway bar going. I vaguely remember in the beginning that Hellwig was saying they redesigned the bar as it was breaking parts under the car. Do you remember that?

I've had my front and rear hellwig bars on for almost a year now, no problems so far. I have ordered a different set of front end links to see if they work, I just don't like the metal on metal design right now as it stands. I did find some that were greasable but I'm going to try the poly ones first. Let everyone know when I get them and try it out.

This was part of the delay. I had to wait for them to redesign the bar. I waited a few months and then they crawled into the parents basement over the Plandemic. I literally waited 5-6 months for the sway bar. Mine is after the re design for sure! :)

That what I thought. I wonder if there’s some old bars floating around out there.

Do you have any pics of the new bar? I'm curious what's different about the design. Shape? Torsion strength?

And about when did you buy yours?

I have to say that when I swapped my sway bar out I was pretty tempted to put new end links on. They are pretty unsubstantial-looking from the factory. I have broken a few factory end links in the past on other vehicles (no aftermarket bars), and they looked tougher than what we have here. In each case I replaced them with greasable links. I'd love to find a set for this vehicle.

I bought it right when the Plandemic started, so sometime in like March. Then they shut down for literally 3 months because some A holes in Washington said that we were all gonna die. Then I didn't get it until probably mid summer or later.

Okay so I received my front one in Mar and the rear in April, so my guess is my front one is an old design most likely. If you get some pics maybe I can compare them.

Call Hellwig. They'll probably replace the bar or needed updates.....

I ordered mine in May and received in the late summer.

As the title reads, I just snapped a rear sway bar end link. I have a Hellwig sway bar and Bilstein shocks. It happened just pulling into a parking lot.

Has anyone upgraded their end links after installing the shocks or sway bar? If so, do you have any recommendations?

Thanks,

My recommendation is to just go with Moog replacement end links. They are affordable, better than the stock sets, even include grease zirks to lubricate the joints.. I have them on my front and rear Hellwig sway bars on my 2017 Expedition EL Limited.

Front: https://drivcat.com/overlays/part-d...50074&partType=Suspension Stabilizer Bar Link

Well, I just ordered a set of the Moogs for my rear sway bar from Amazon. I'll let you guys know how they fit once they come in.

Curious if anyone has tried these on a 2018+ yet. Moog only shows them fitting up to a 2017 MY.

FWIW, I checked the Moog website and it says they fit 2007-2019.
Can you paste the link where you’re seeing that? When I look up the part number (K750052) it only shows it fitting through 2017.
