Key Fob Programming? DIY or Dealership?

The backup slot option did not work for me. Got the third fob and is did not do anything, even with a new battery in it. I followed what I thought was the instructions in the manual. Am I missing something? It is the MyKey feature, right?

MyKey is different. MyKey is were you program an existing key to have driving limitations such as maximum speed or maximum radio volume.

You want “program spare intelligent access key”. See @grumpyoleman post #8 from this thread for the instructions.

Thanks! When I pulled up the manual on my tablet, I thought I was looking at the same thing he shared. I will revisit that process. Thanks!
