Works as designed to. Also learned some new stuff, if you press 7/8 and 9/0 simultaneously it will lock all the doors. If you press 5/6 after your code it will open the rear lift glass.

Yeah I like the 7/8 9/0, to lock the truck, Keeps from having to open the door to hit the lock button. My wife is good at leaving it unlocked, and I'll notice it later and not have the key fob since it's her truck.

Works just like the owners manual says. :) 3/4 unlocks all the doors. 5/6 the rear glass. Get used to the dash notation you have a door open if you're like me and press 5/6 accidentally. Glass just barely opens and I've driven away a couple of times in this condition.

Had a couple of 97-03 F150 trucks. One one of them didn't have the keypad built into the door handle, so I bought this same gizmo. Didn't like the way it looked stuck to the door, and to be honest I really didn't use it much. So I moved it to behind the gas filler door. Handy when going boating.

Uses a single battery - typical of most remotes. Like a 2032 or something. Super common.
