with out going to a dealer I am trying to find the keyless code for my 03 Expedition. I know their should be stickers with the code inside in two or 3 different locations.

Look up behind the passenger kick panel and there is a box with 5 bold numbers. That is the keyless code.

Yeah, the code is on a sticker on the security module just forward of the fusebox at the passenger side kick panel. Pull the cover off the kick panel and look up there with a flash light. It's pretty obvious when you see it.

Do the locks work when you hit the switches in the truck ? With the FOB ? But not when you enter the 5 digit code on the driver's door keypad? Or do the electric locks not work at all, with any switch?

Do the buttons light up when you press them? All the buttons should light up when you press any of the buttons.

Also pressing the last 2 at the same time should lock all the doors regardless of what the code is.

The doors do not lock when I press the last two buttons at the same time plus I never checked to see if the key pad lit up when pressed. That I will check and get back to you . Thanks

The code is to unlock the doors. If they are unlocked when you enter the code, nothing is going to happen. If it still doesn't work, then you are going to have to take it to the dealer and have them reset the code.

Hi Elvado, I have to say no as far as the keypad lighting up. I guess I should pull the door panel and check the plugin for a good connection.

Thanks

Hi sgtowing, I realize it won't work if the doors are already un-locked. Even with the doors un-locked pushing button 7&8 9&0 together the doors do not lock, as well key pad does not light up when pushing buttons

Thanks sgtowing

I just replaced mine last weekend, You need to remove the mirror, then remove the trim piece If I remember right the plug is under the trim piece. Its a second set of wires that go up by the mirror ones. I did some google research and was able to do it no problem!

Thanks Warren G I did locate my trouble, as the keypad had not been used in a few years it was not making contact which made me believe the pad was not receiving power
